WiseSight's AI-powered platform uses computer vision and machine learning to monitor parking spaces and identify violations in real time. The platform can also be used to generate reports on parking usage and trends, which can help cities and municipalities make informed decisions about parking policy.

 

This Privacy Policy (“Policy“) applies whenever Customers and Website Visitors (collectively, “you“) use our Platform or visit WiseSight (the “Website“; the Platform and Website are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Service(s)“) 

 

We strongly urge you to read this Policy and make sure that you fully understand and agree to it. If you do not agree to this Policy, please discontinue and avoid using our Services.

 

You are not legally required to provide us with any Personal Data, but without it we will not be able to provide you with the best experience.

This Policy applies to WiseSight’s collection, use, and disclosure of the Personal Data (as defined below) of the following categories of individuals and organizations:

Website Visitors: individuals who visit our Website and who may volunteer Personal Data.

Customers: parties signing up to our Platform and use the Services, either on their own or on behalf of their employers.

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect two types of data from you:

 

Non-Personal Data:

  • Low-resolution training photos that do not contain any personal information.

Personal Data:

  • Photos and videos that may contain personal information, utilized for documentation and verification purposes.

  • License plate training photos taken and anonymized for any PII

  • Information about passing and parking vehicles, which may contain personal information, also used for documentation and verification purposes.

 

The table below details the types of Personal Data we collect, the methods and purpose of such collection, and our lawful basis for processing such Personal Data, where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) and its local implementation in the UK (“UK GDPR”) apply:

Our legal bases for processing your Contact Information are fulfilling our contractual obligations to you and our legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests in this case are providing our Services in a secure manner.
Usage Information We collect low-resolution training photos as Non-Personal Data. For Personal Data, we collect photos, videos, and license plate training photos in a anonymized environment that may contain personal information, as well as information on passing and parking vehicles for documentation and verification purposes.
The purpose of collecting this data is for documentation, verification, and training purposes. Specifically, the photos and videos, along with the information on passing and parking vehicles, are used for documentation and verification. Meanwhile, the training photos, including those of board training in a dark environment, are used for training purposes.
Such collection is based on our legitimate interests, which in this case are operating and promoting our Service and providing you with the best user experience.
Legal Matters
We may use certain Personal Data to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, fraud, misappropriation, infringements, identity thefts and any other misuse of the Service, to enforce our legal terms and conditions, to protect the security or integrity of our databases, and to take precautions against legal liability.
Such processing is based on our legitimate interests, which in this case are protecting our Service and data, exercising our legal rights, and complying with our legal obligations.

We may disclose your Personal Data to third parties, that help us maintain and provide our Service. information about the categories of such third-party recipients is described below:

We may disclose Personal Data in case we believe, in good faith, that such disclosure is necessary in order to enforce our policies, take precautions against liabilities, investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, protect the security or integrity of the Services and protect the rights and property of WiseSight. We may also disclose your Personal Data where requested by legal or regulatory authorities in response to a verified request relating to terror acts, criminal investigations, alleged illegal activity or any other activity that may expose us, you, or any other user to legal liability, and solely to the extent necessary to comply with such purpose.
Mergers and acquisitions
We may disclose or transfer your Personal Data if we enter a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all our assets. Any party that acquires our assets as part of such a transaction may continue to use your data in accordance with the terms of this Policy.
Professional advisers
We may disclose Personal Data to professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors, insurers, and accounting services, to ensure compliance with our obligations.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and, where applicable, the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”). Under these laws, the term “Personal Information” may have a broader definition than under other data protection laws. These rights apply solely to California residents:

  1. Right to know or access Personal Data processed by us: the right to know what Personal Data we process about you, including the categories of Personal Data, the sources from which the Personal Data is collected, the third parties to whom we disclose Personal Data, and the specific pieces of Personal Data we collected about you.

  2. Right of deletion: the right to delete Personal Data that we process concerning you, subject to certain exceptions.

  3. Right to correct inaccurate data: the right to correct inaccurate Personal Data that we maintain about you

  4. Right to opt-out of the use of automated decision-making: in certain circumstances, you have the right to opt-out of the use of automated decision making in relation to your Personal Data. If you would like to opt out, please email privacy@wise-sight.com. Note: WiseSight does not currently “sell” Personal Information as defined under the CCPA.

  5. Right to data portability: you may request to receive a copy of your Personal Data, including specific pieces of Personal Data, including, where applicable, to obtain a copy of the Personal Data you provided to us in a portable format.

  6. Right to restrict or object to processing: You have the right to object the processing of your Personal Data, unless certain exceptions apply.

  7. Right to withdraw consent: If Personal Data is processed based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time.

  • 6. DATA RETENTION:

 

We will retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary to provide our Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Please note that except as required by applicable law, we will not be obligated to retain your data for any particular period, and we may delete it for any reason and at any time, without providing you with prior notice if our intention to do so. However, retention periods shall be determined taking into account the type of data that is collected and the purpose for which it is collected for, bearing in mind the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy outdated, unused data at the earliest reasonable time.

 

  • 7. SECURITY MEASURES:

 

We work hard to protect the Personal Data we process from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction and have implemented physical, technical, and administrative security measures for that purpose.

While we seek to protect your Personal Data to ensure that it is kept confidential, we cannot guarantee the security of any data. You should be aware that there is always some risk involved in transmitting data over the internet and that there is also some risk that others could find a way to thwart our security systems. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Data, we cannot ensure or warrant the security and privacy of your Personal Data or other content you transmit using the Service, and you do so at your own risk. Thus, we encourage you to exercise discretion regarding the Personal Data you choose to disclose.

 

  • 8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER:

 

We operate globally, and any data that we collect, disclose or share, including (but not limited to) your Personal Data, can be stored and processed in various jurisdictions including, but not limited to, the European Economic Area, and Israel, for the purposes detailed in this Policy. To the extent that the GDPR or UK GDPR are applicable, we will only transfer or share your Personal Data to data recipients:

  • located in the EEA or in the UK;

  • located in non-EEA countries or UK which have been approved as providing adequate level of data protection by the European Committee; or 

  • who have entered into a legal agreement ensuring an adequate level of data protection, including the Standard Contractual Clauses as approved by the European Committee or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

 

The transfer of Personal Data to third party countries is based on the same lawful basis as stipulated in the table at the “TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED AND PURPOSES” section above.

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our Services (as reflected in the “Last Updated” heading). You are advised to check for updates regularly. By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Policy.

 

  • 10. CONTROLLING VERSION:

 

This Policy has been drafted in the English language, which is the original and controlling version of this Policy. All translations of this Policy into other languages shall be solely for convenience and shall not control the meaning or application of this Policy. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of the Policy and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail.

Please note that even if you unsubscribe from our marketing mailing list, we may continue to send you service-related updates and notifications.

We acknowledge that different people have different privacy concerns and preferences. Our goal is to be clear about what data we collect so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used. We allow you to exercise certain choices, rights, and controls in connection with your Personal Data. Depending on your relationship with us, your jurisdiction and the applicable data protection laws that apply to you, you have the right to control and request certain limitations or rights to be executed.
